One of the primary objectives of the Broward Beekeepers Association (BBA) is to foster the education of the public and of beekeepers regarding the benefits and value of honeybees to our ecosystem.  We do this through a variety of programs and venues.

 

This website contains multiple links to valuable articles and other websites that are of interest to beekeepers and the general public.  Some of the links connect to very specific technical areas, while others link to more general topics.  These have been sorted as best as possible to make browsing an enjoyable and beneficial experience.  Your feedback regarding any of the links is welcomed.

 

In addition to the website, our monthly meeting are an extremely valuable forum for beekeepers to discuss issues and hear experts speak on various topics.

 

More geared to the area of public education, the BBA attends local farmer's markets and agricultural shows.  Frequently, we will have an observational hive at these events as an attraction for children.  We also provide speakers for schools and other civic groups upon request.
